I'm getting it done so I can be reunited with you. Only a few more college applications left to be sent off, then auditions, then I will be 100% yours again. I promise... Promise... PROMISE! Please do not scorn me, this college process in a non-ending cycle of always being on top of your game and each second is more valuable than the one before. I know, I know... I may sound a tad dramatic but hey, I love acting.

Anywho, I am quite shocked that I found this time to actually sit down and type out a legit post. I indeed have A LOT of catching up to do. Where do I even begin? OKAY, for one ya'll should follow me on Instagram. I promise I'm a tad more frequent on there than I am on here (unfortunately, not that I hate Instagram... I just miss le blogge.) Holdin' It Together

Seniority is harder than I thought. My days are composed of: college apps, homework including the extensive reading & studying required for all three of my A.P classes, learning monologues for college auditions, learning music for the school musical auditions, and for the past two weeks I was also fighting a terrible cold. I'm surprised my everyday wardrobe hasn't become a pair of sweatpants, a t-shirt, & some sneakers, as of yet.

It's Autumn Ya'll

     YES, YES, YES! 

It's autumn or fall, whichever you prefer to call this season the point is that leaves are falling off the trees in their many beautiful colors that are wonderfully captured in fashion. It is no shocker that fashion takes cues from the seasons. But I feel like many people love fall: the neutral colors, the textures, the combinations of all of the above. And I feel like fall is quite inspirational also, it makes people feel refreshed. So on that note of feeling refreshed, I feel 'blog-refreshal' is in the atmosphere. Yes, OhMyShavana is going to get a makeover. But until then I was scooping lookbook.nu for the first time in what feels like forever and it was no surprise how inspired by fall everyone seems. Let's take a look at some of my favorite looks from this wonderful website (if you haven't already, go check it out!) These girls are incredible, take notes- I know I am!

It's fall, it's getting a little chilly... Time to pack up the shorts. NO! Pair those bad boys with a pair of tights or stockings to turn your summer shorts into fall-ready beauties!

It's like she was inspired straight from the color of the leaves- the brown, the green, the yellow. Perfect! I love drawing inspiration from the colors outside. 

I think knit hats are perfect! They are both super-duper warm & amazingly adorable. And I absolutely love a pair of go-to knee high black boots. They go with practically any fall outfit. 

InstaWeek Recap

This past week was spirit week & to me spirit week is basically just a week of playing dress up or such. Which I love! I love love spirit week. I actually look forward to it. So dressing up was just bliss. The first day was just 'color wars' & the senior color of the day was blue, which was just like getting ready on any normal day cause I own sooo much blue clothing. The next day was twin or triplet day & you didn't exactly have to match you could've been a group of people or whatever. So my friends and I tried our best to dress like Rihanna, Rita Ora, and Beyonce. In which I tried my bestest to dress kinda like Rita Ora. It was defiantly interesting, for the lack of better words.

Insta-FUN

                                         K, so I decided that Instagram is 

                                a fabulous creation! (How late am I?!?!?!?!)

And there is just sooo much you could do with that bad boy, including do a weekly (or daily; if I'm feeling inspired) Instagram recap type thingy! I feel like it would just be extremely fun! And it would kinda force me get back into the creative mood! As a senior in high school everything feels so one-sided (with all the college things to do, SATs, and maintaining your GPA) & I really haven't been feeling myself lately! But hopefully that shall all change! This is not only only for you lovies but its also a challenge for me! Leggo!

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?!?!?

MORE THAN COMPLETELY MIA. But the summer was a hectic one; I am finally settling in. With dance classes, moving, and being computer-less; I have completely missed blogging. BUT BUT BUT I have finally, oh finally created an instagram where I try my best to stay updated and not as scarce as I am here, so truly feel free to follow me on instagram: ohmyshevy (I will update if that ever changes, with my creative self it might be more than difficult to stay with one name!) Goofin' in Pastel

Afterr, an amazing college campus tour in NYC it was time to take pictures and take in my city like a tourist. Hahaha! I must say I don't go all the way down to Washington Square Park often but it is truly a vibrant place! And after walking around a bit and looking into various stores my sister and her family swept my mother and I up and dragged us to the beach. Can you say FUN? Perfect way to end such an incredible day soaking in the sun, while I listen to music, and begin reading Mockingjay FINALLY!

So instead of my usual July 4th activity of a pool party this year I went on a roadtrip with my mom and my dad. I know, I know... It doesn't sound as exciting as an annual pool party with my friends. But I had to make a sacrifice in order to visit some colleges. Which may make it seem like even more of a dragggggg. But I love my rents & we had tons of funnnnn!

Soooooo... I'm studying for my finals/ typing an essay/ looking up new trends AND I see these, STOP everything else, and OPEN a new blog entry window. Yupp, yupp, yupp!

Please excuse my mysterious absence like I keep on repeating everything is amazingly busy right now but school is coming to a speedy ending & soon it shall be summer. That means 'OOTDs' probably everyday, vintage & non-vintage shopping, random adventures and so much more. I'm pumped to share the upcoming summer with OhMyShavana! So I've previously stated my crazeddddd love affair for dessert-inspired jewelry. And yeah, there is a specific line that I'm constantly refreshing my internet to keep updated on. Of course the lovely: Kendallious Kreations. I'm obsessed. 

And well these yummy creations have been updated completely! With all new I'm-ready-to-devour, yummy, exact-looking, flawless pieces- I feel that if I stare at her Esty page too much I might drool. Cause yes they are just that drool worthy, really they are!

GOSHHHHH, am I failing or what!

It's been sooooo LONGGGG! Hello blog, I've missed you... I've missed you dearly and I have SOOO much to share! Aghhh, this post may be filled with all-capped words because of the excitement that is overwhelming me from the thought of being reunited with my love (OhMyShavana). Where shall I start?!?!? Hmm... Perhaps with an outfit breakdown from Easter.

What a lovely picture!!! Well this wonderful picture is a photo of me and my bestestfriend EVER! Yes, yes, yes I love her. Kay let's start with her- She recently discovered her new love for vintage items and is doing it  beautiful justice. That wonderfully colorful blazer is vintage, DONTCHA LOVE IT? I DO! I promised her that one day I'm gonna borrow it but she's keeping watchful eyes on it. Hmmmm... I would too if I were her. And look how it's paired with that sky blue pencil skirt- DRESSED TO PERFECTION, of course. Yeah, I absolutely love her outfit. 

Kay, so me... Well my mom really wanted me to buy a new dress for Easter but I refused, I decided I wanted to recycle. I was gonna lose my mind configuring an outfit at first just because everything has been over-worn in my closet, for the most part. However, I had recently got that blue silk top and I was in love. So first part: CHECK! But I needed a skirt... Hmm... What could go wonderfully with that top, I had to do it justice- so as always I scan my mom's closet. And guess what I find, this wonderful silk skirt! Second part: CHECK! (AND SCORE IT WAS THE SAME EXACT FABRIC) Then I just accessorized: black bowed-belt (which I'm in love with!) Pink floral headband (I have a headband obsession: FACT!) Micheal Kors' booties (They're my mom's- but I borrow them at least once a week!!!)  

Ballerina Shades

I am gravitated by dance in its many forms. It inspires me and makes me happier without a doubt. 

So yeah, hand me a box of nail lacquer NYC Ballet inspired & I'm gonna fall head over heels. Which is what I am currently doing as I stare at my computer screen. Well, no I haven't purchased my set yet but trust me these soft, pastels will soon be mine! They even have dance-inspired names like 'My POINTE Exactly, Don't Touch My TUTU, and PIROUETTE My Whistle.' Ahhh, how I am falling in love more and more by the second. Soft, chic, pastel, classy- the epitome of New York City Ballet.

Flying High

How much higher shall we fly before we fall flat on our faces in the presences of gorgeous skirts adorned into the perfect outfit?

I am in love, if I have ever been in love before. I want to buy this skirt and spend every waking moment sporting it and pairing it with things that will either make it more classy or more absurd!!! And this girl just knows, she chooses amazing colors to make the skirt more chic yet it still stands out against the yellow and neutral color of black.

Am I a weirdo?!?

Well, that's a simple question but seriously despite my extra oddness you can not say these are not wonderful creations. "Jeffrey's done it again!" Goshhhhhh, I love these head-turning, cartoon Litas. They are amazing masterpieces. They are just screaming "BUY ME! YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!" & they are absolutely correct!!

We're Really Indulgin' Now

I would be fibbing if I said I wasn't such a dessert person- it's quite odd. I feel as if I almost always have a sweet tooth because desserts & everything dessert-y is awesome! I can often be found in my kitchen making a new dessert to satisfy a sweet tooth or at my bestfriend's casa baking our favorite sleepover dessert-brownies! Yummm!

But now we are taking the yummy desserts a step further! Jewelry? Yupp, of course I said it. I currently own cupcake, cotton candy, popcorn, smores, chocolate, pretzels, marshmallow, donuts, and ice cream earrings! What?!? Yeah I do! And I love them, so I see nothing in the future but increase for this wonderful collection of food as jewelry. Welcome to... WONDERLAND

Dakota Fanning graces the April/May 2012 issue of Wonderland! The gorgeous actress totally vintages-it-up (totally making up new phrases to try and explain this vintage-mod, wonderland beauty!) I seriously am feeling inspired by these lovely, classy looks!

Ek, I've been so M.I.A! It's kinda gross. I've been weirdly busy, soon I shall be re-vamping OMS! So there's no need to fear, sit tight and buckle up!!!

BUT... I come bearing love! Details into who I've been fawning over in the last few minutes of placing my eyes on this outfit & just in general. At the age of 15, this girl's been KICK-ing it on the big screen, on the red carpet, and at every other performance. Chloë Grace Moretz is incredible & her style is impeccable, chic, young, and fun!

I really love the fact that I have such a wide collection of nail lacquers! They make me so happy. As a bit of a girly-girl one of my favorite past times is getting comfy & doing my nails- legs crossed on the floor with my favorite blanket and my magical box of various nail lacquers as I catch up on previous episodes of my fave shows.
